I am more than thrilled to feature Jensen in our Women with Heart Series!  Jensen and I talked for about an hour before we even began our session.  She's the kind of girl you want to have as a friend where you could hang out at Starbucks and talk about life.  I was in awe of her beauty but more enamored by her soul!  Her heart for children was amazing as well as her love and dedication to her family.  Honestly, I don't know how a business owner can find the time to devote so much to so many!

Jensen wanted me to capture the many sides to her personality and she wanted to do something "out of the box" which we did.  I wanted to we create her dream session and give back to her, as she gives to all around her.  Read more about this rare beauty!

Tell us about you, your family, and your work (if applicable): 

I’m originally from Louisiana but I’ve been in Nashville for over 12 years. My husband and I are about to celebrate our 10^th Anniversary and have a wonderful 5 year old little boy and 2 English labs. Life is busy and fun at all times, but we love it!

I love sports, great music, time with family and friends, and great food!

As an LSU graduate, I always thought I’d stay in New Orleans, but I made my way here not too long after Hurricane Katrina. My husband and I met through friends and dated long-distance before I finally made the leap!

I own a Management Consulting business (Camshaw Consulting, LLC) where we work with companies of all sizes. By combining psychometric testing, emotional intelligence work, and training, we assess departments and keep employees as well as employers on track for more successful outcomes with employment and hiring.

Tell us your favorite charity and why it is your favorite charity. 

My heart is divided between 2 organizations. I sit on the Board of Directors for the Boys and Girls Clubs as well as the Austin Hatcher Foundation for Pediatric Cancer.

Both organizations are doing amazing work with children and families. With the Boys and Girls Clubs, we get to work with children, providing safety after school, healthy snacks, and strong goals to graduate and become successful, active citizens. We have a 100% graduation rate among our high school kids active in the clubs!

With the Austin Hatcher Foundation, the goal is to erase the effects of pediatric cancer through essential specialized intervention, beginning at the time of diagnoses and continuing through survivorship.

The foundation provides service to children as well as families through 4 major divisions:

Industrial arts, Diversionary Therapy, Psycho-oncology, and Healthy Lifestyle Education

What does beautiful mean to you?

Beauty is internal and felt, not seen. It’s confidence in yourself and your goals, and a love for your fellow human beings around you. Beauty is about living your best life, helping those in need and being the best version of yourself you can imagine! It’s about choosing right over wrong and having courage to stand up for what IS right. Beauty is within us all…we just need to listen to the voice of love and compassion that guides us daily!

What makes you happy?

I am happiest with family and dear friends. Although my husband and I love to entertain and are very involved in the community, I also love spending time with my boys or nights with my dear friends!

Being a Louisiana girl, we are (by nature) very social and my heart smiles when I combine family, friends, great food, and a lot of laughter!

What is an inspirational quote that resonates with you?

 I believe you must commit to what your heart calls you to do…not what you are pressured to do. Have your reasons why and if they touch your heart, you’ll touch others!

What was your experience like having a "women with heart" session?  

Erin is an absolute artist! She is kind, calming and so easy to work with!

I had an extremely busy year, but her patience and love for her work shows through in wanting to make sure every shot is perfect!

I was enthused and moved at the thought of doing this series with such amazing women! What an empowering thing to do with a group of passionate women in our community! The Women of Heart series combines strong women with kind hearts and shows what you can do when you set your mind to something! I had a wonderful time getting to know Erin and working with her through this series!
