Stacey is such a women with heart!  What can I say? Truly a beauty on the inside as well as the outside.  I first met her when I was photographing her son's senior portraits.  She was a delight then, and I instantly clicked with her.  Although she is stunningly beautiful, she is so unassuming very humble and so easy to be around!   I have been grateful to photograph both of her boys now, and it was so rewarding for me to do something special for her. She was a natural in the studio, and reminded me of Courtney Cox!  Such a great session and so fun!  She has a heart for kids and after getting to know her better, a heart for women too.  Read more about this sweet heart of a woman!

Tell us about you, your family and your work.

Prior to becoming a Mom, I worked in pharmaceutical sales and lived in several different states before settling down in Franklin.   I am married to my best friend Darren and we have been blessed with three wonderful children.  India recently graduated from Auburn University and currently works in medical sales.  Isaac is a junior at the University of Mississippi where he is on a pre-med track, a member of the ATO Fraternity and on the Ole Miss Football team.  The baby of the family is Ethan who is an upcoming senior at Brentwood Academy.  Ethan plays soccer and is a member of the Student Leadership Team.   We enjoy hanging out as a family at the lake, taking vacations, or just having a chill game night at home.

Tell us your favorite charity and why it is your favorite charity.

Franktown Open Hearts is close to my heart because our family has been involved since the beginning.   FOH primarily works with Franklin area school age children grades 1-12 every day after school and all day during the summer.  They provide educational help and recreational activities as well as exposure to many different vocations.  Franktown Open Hearts offers various programming throughout the year including tutoring, woodworking, automotive repair, culinary arts, sewing, welding, public speaking, horseback riding, performing arts, summer camps, field trips, and computer training.

How can the community help your charity?

Most people assume that affluent Williamson County has no poverty; however, the community that FOH serves is every bit as destitute as the housing projects in inner city Nashville.    Of the families we serve:

100% live in single parent homes
100% receive government assistance to live
100% are on the free/reduced lunch program
Only 12% of the adults have graduated high school
Over 50% of the parents do not work
Average annual income is $12,563
Many families do not own an automobile

The community can help by getting involved and volunteering and of course, donations are always welcome and needed.  Follow FOH on Facebook:www.facebook.com/franktownoh, Twitter: https://twitter.com/FranktownOH, Website: www.FranktownOpenHeartsl.com or Instagram: www.instagram.com/franktownopenhearts/

What does beautiful mean to you?

Beautiful to me can be an image, a sound, a moment, an act, or an experience.       God’s creation, the silence during a snowfall in the mountains, when my husband proposed, the way my mother cared for my Daddy when he was sick, and the sound of my children’s laughter are all things that are beautiful to me.

What makes you happy?

Hearing my children’s laughter always makes me happy.

What is an inspirational quote that resonates with you?

What was your experience like having a “women with heart” session?

Erin is absolutely delightful!  I am honored to be chosen for the Women With Heart series.  It has been a long time since I have done a photo shoot and Erin made it comfortable and fun.   She is extremely talented and the ultimate professional.   Erin has a gift for bringing out the best and capturing it in a photograph.  If you are in need of a photographer, book Erin!  You will not be disappointed.  Her work is gorgeous!
